Biography
Zainab is a corporate transactions partner in BraunHagey & Borden’s New York office. Zainab’s practice is split evenly across representing emerging growth companies from inception to exit across a broad range of consumer industries with a particular focus on CPG, health & beauty and technology. The other half of Zainab’s practice involves representing and advising venture capital and private equity firms.
She advises both companies and investors in venture and growth financings (across all stages and sizes), buy-side and sale-side mergers and acquisitions and complex restructurings and change in control transactions. Zainab’s practice also involves counsel on corporate formation and governance matters, strategic advisory and a variety of third-party commercial arrangements (including manufacturing, OEM, distribution and IP licensing agreements). Zainab enjoys working closely with her clients, taking a goal oriented and business-minded approach.
Personal
Zainab lives in Manhattan with her family. She enjoys hiking, exploring restaurants and painting with her daughters.
